Want to help out and have fun with your dog at the same time?

The Tulsa Bark Parks are looking for dependable volunteers to spend time as Ambassadors at our Dog Parks. Volunteers should be dog lovers who are willing to pitch in to keep our park fun and a healthy environment for our dogs and uprights.

What a great way to give something back to our community!

Be a part of a fun and energetic group to help ensure an enjoyable experience for visitors at Tulsa’s Bark Parks. Help create a close knit “park culture”. Help contribute to the success of Tulsa’s Dog Parks.

Responsibilities:

Volunteer at service projects offered at Tulsa Dog Parks (i.e. trash pick up, help with park improvements)
Foster and maintain good public relations as an Ambassador of the Tulsa Dog Parks, including being a good role model for appropriate Dog Park behavior & etiquette. Ambassadors go to the park whenever is convenient (i.e. no scheduling) and politely informing users of the rules.

Qualifications:
Friendly, good-spirited dog owner with a willingness to help people
Commitment to assuring an enjoyable dog park for all
Minimum age 18 years old
For the safety for volunteers and visitors a background check will be done.

• Get tax benefit on mileage to the park as part of a charitable non-profit organization

Ambassadors of the Tulsa Bark Parks consist of volunteers dedicated to making the Tulsa Bark Parks a better place for canines and their owners while creating a “Park Culture”. Visit the park with your pooches and help keep the park running smoothly by assisting people with questions and politely educating users of dog park etiquette and rules. All visitors should be doing this anyway.

We are always looking for friendly people interested in helping out around the park. We have occasional meetings and events at the Park. Some Social events will be planned.

Become a volunteer. It’s a great way to give back to the Park that we enjoy with our four legged friends. Most of our meetings and events take place after normal business hours.

• Dog Photo Photographer and Submissions - Yes, we want to get more dog photos on the site!
• Work crews & projects
• People with carpenter and construction skills
• Horticultural Skills
• Artist
